#MUSIC | Introducing....ARO

Meet ARO, also known as Aimee Osborn (yes of that Osborne clan) - you might not have heard about her as she opted out at 16 to be on her family's spotlight to hone in her skills and carve have an authentic musical career of her own.  “It’s natural to want to rebel against what your parents do,” explains Aimée. “Once I accepted music was my path, I rebelled by wanting to do it my own way. I also didn't think it was respectful to my father’s career and creativity to assume that I could jump on the back of all he had worked his entire life for.”

She's just released her debut track Raining Gold, a slow and smooth dark cinematic burner of an introduction to her world.  The video for the song which was directed by Spencer Susser who also directed Lana Del Rey's 2010 hit Summer Time sadness, features what looks like her being the personification of something dark (death perhaps?)in the remains of a zombie apocalypse. We can't wait to see more from this new project and with an EP in the works and a tour to be announced it looks like we'll be seeing alot more of ARO in the future!
